A History of Quality
Grimaud is sourced from limestone deposits that have been forming over the course of millions of years. These quarries demonstrate subtle levels of fossilization and shelling and a range of light cream to beige color variations. Raw stones are selected for their technical properties, suitability for use and unique characteristics, with special attention being paid to the ecological impacts of their extraction. Large sections of stone are split in the quarries, creating individual split-face pieces that are completely unique in their coloration and texture. Corner pieces are also fabricated by expert stonemasons for their use in wall cladding applications.
