A History of Quality

Inspired by the tradition of European flagstone, which dates back to ancient Rome, Meknes Opus is sourced from limestone deposits that have been forming over the course of millions of years. The deposits within these areas are fairly consistent, with subtle fossilization and shelling and a minimally variable gray coloration. Large sections of raw stone are selected for their technical properties, suitability for use and unique characteristics, with special attention being paid to the ecological impacts of their extraction.
