Walker Apartment

The Walker apartment, located in a newly remodeled Tribeca property near Chinatown, was purchased by Franck and Alexis Nataf in the summer of 2019. Originally envisioned as a New York City pied-à-terre for family visits and business travel, the apartment now serves as a showroom space—highlighting the brothers' livable design as well as a curated selection of artwork, furniture and E/S materials.

The apartment layout remained largely unchanged, but the material choices and thoughtful redesign completely transformed the space. Lumiere Haussmann French oak in a herringbone pattern was selected for flooring in the main living area.

Additional Exquisite Surfaces products were used throughout the apartment. The primary and guest bathrooms feature a range of materials, including Charente Clair limestone, handcrafted Fez Black and Terra zellige tiles and Medina Black cement.

Inspired by the Memphis movement and early 90s postmodernism, the eclectic design includes artwork featuring saturated colors and expressive graphics, as well as unique custom furniture pieces from a wide range of European and American brands.

With its distinctive character and stylistic diversity, this newly renovated Tribeca apartment pays homage to the vibrant, dynamic spirit of the city outside.
