A History of Quality
The raw oak used to craft the Louis collection comes entirely from French forestlands. These areas are carefully maintained by forest managers, and trees are only harvested once they reach their full maturity of approximately 150 years. With sustainability in mind, the areas are repopulated with new plantings to ensure the future health of the forest. After fabrication, narrow planks are individually cut and distressed by master artisans in a small atelier in France. All five colorations are thoughtfully finished to highlight the pronounced differences and distinct personalities seen across individual planks. This unique collection faithfully captures the look and spirit of authentic reclaimed oak.
