Fond Dur Preplast Sealer

Fond Dur Preplast Sealer distinguishes itself from other sealers by its high quality resin which gives it a higher quality finish and wide range of uses. Use Fond Dur Preplast sealer before oiling wood. Its exclusive formula provides a very high resistant base.

Surface Preparation:

• All Exquisite Surfaces floors must be perfectly clean and dry prior to applying sealer. If there are any traces of glue on the surface of the wood, it is important that they be removed before finishing so that the finish can fully penetrate the wood. Glue should never be sanded off as that will remove the color from the wood along with the glue. Lacquer thinner, and not mineral spirits, can be used to remove dried on glue.
• Buff floor with a beige or white pad to obtain a smooth, splinter-free surface.
• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.

Directions for Use:

• Wood moisture content should be less than 10% before applying sealer. 
• Shake bottle vigorously before using.
• Apply with a brush or roller and let dry for approximately 60 minutes. 
• Brush lightly with fine steel wool pad or buffing pad before applying Natural Oilwax sealer. 

Oil Wax: Natural

Exquisite Surfaces Oil Wax is a natural finish based on vegetable oils and natural waxes. It is easy to use and to maintain. It penetrates to the core of the wood for long lasting protection. It is suitable for interior use only and virtually odorless. Coverage: Approximately 160-200 sqft per 1 liter bottle. 

Directions for Use after Sealing:

• Stir thoroughly before use. Do not dilute.
• Apply 2 coats of oil wax with a rag in the direction of the grain.
• Allow 8-12 hours between coats.

Natural Wood Soap

Exquisite Surfaces Natural Wood Soap is ideal for routine cleaning of Exquisite Surfaces wood floors. It simultaneously clean as it reinforces their protection. Made from vegetable ingredients and enriched with natural oils, our Natural Wood Soap is an effective and natural cleanser with a fresh fragrance. 

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.
• Dilute 100mL of soap per 5L of clean water.

Directions for Use:

• Apply solution with a damp cloth, microfiber mop or sponge mop.
• Wring out mop and/or cloth frequently to avoid excessive moisture on floors.
• Rinse the mop and/or cloth frequently while cleaning.
• Can be used weekly for cleaning. To keep floor clear between cleanings with soap, remove dust and debris using a vacuum or static pad.

Maintenance Oil Spray

Exquisite Surfaces Maintenance Oil Spray is designed for use on Exquisite Surfaces wood floors that have been finished with Oil Wax. Maintenance Oil penetrates the wood for long-lasting protection, while preserving the wood’s natural appearance and elasticity.

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.

Directions for Use:

• For use when floors lose their natural luster or look worn/dry.
• Lightly spray Maintenance Oil on floors, wiping with a clean, dry cotton cloth.
• Apply in the direction of the wood grain, taking care to not apply too thickly.
• Allow to dry approximately 4-6 hours.
• Can be applied as needed on dry or worn areas.

Lagoon Kit

Exquisite Surfaces’ Lagoon Kit is designed for use on Exquisite Surfaces wood floors that have been finished with Oil Wax. The Lagoon Spray is not for regular cleaning, but for the cleanup of spills. This environmentally-friendly cleanser provides streak-free and non-slip cleanup that will help preserve the original finish.

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.

Directions for Use:

• Lightly spray on floors, wiping clean with a microfiber pad. You can also spray directly onto microfiber pad.
• The floors can be used again after the spray has dried (approximately 5 minutes).

Cleaning & Maintenance for Manoir Collection (Varnish Finish)

SKYLT: Spray and Wipe

SKYLT Spray and Wipe is designed to be used with Exquisite Surfaces wood floors that have been finished with varnish. It is not intended for regular cleaning, but for the cleanup of spills. This environmentally-friendly spray provides residue-free cleaning of SKYLT-treated surfaces.

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.

Directions for Use:

• Lightly spray on floors or directly onto a clean cloth or mop.
• Use light pressure as you clean.
• Wring out mop and/or cloth frequently to avoid excessive moisture on floors.
• Rinse the mop and/or cloth frequently while cleaning.
• Can be used as needed. To keep floor clear between cleanings with soap, remove dust and debris using a vacuum or static pad.

SKYLT Conditioner Concentrate

SKYLT Conditioner Concentrate is a pH-neutral cleanser that does not leave a residue. SKYLT Conditioner Concentrate can be diluted in water for regular cleaning or to refill the SKYLT Spray and Wipe bottle.

To Refill SKYLT Spray and Wipe Bottle:

• Measure 20mL of SKYLT Conditioner Concentrate and pour into spray bottle.
• Add 480mL of clean water to concentrate.
• 1 Liter bottle = 50 refills of Spray and Wipe bottle.

Regular Cleaning:

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.

Directions for Use:

• Based on soil level, pour 100-200mL of SKYLT Conditioner Concentrate into a bucket with 5-6 liters of clean water.
• Clean floor with light pressure using a cleaning pad or mop dampened with the cleaning solution.
• Wring out mop and/or cloth frequently to avoid excessive moisture on floors.
• Rinse the mop and/or cloth frequently while cleaning.

Cleaning & Maintenance for Manoir Premiere, Campagne Collections

Aqua Natural Care

Aqua Natural Care is an environmentally-friendly, water-based product that provides high-performance protection against wear and stains. Coverage: Approximately 425-524 sqft per 1 liter bottle.

Directions for Use: 

• Apply to floor with a clean microfiber pad or cloth. 
• Allow to dry for approximately 1 hour.
• Apply one coat of Aqua Natural Care immediately after installation.
• You may reapply when your floors begin to have a dull appearance or show signs of wear, or discoloration (intake of water into the floor) after washing.

Aqua Natural Soap

Aqua Natural Soap is ideal for routine cleaning of Exquisite Surfaces Manoir Premiere and Campagne flooring. Comprised of vegetable-based oils such as soybean and coconut oil. Aqua Natural Soap both cleans and nourishes your floor’s surface.

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.
• Dilute 100mL of soap per 10L of water.

Directions for Use:

• Apply solution with a damp cloth, microfiber mop or sponge mop.
• Wring out mop and/or cloth frequently to avoid excessive moisture on floors.
• Rinse the mop and/or cloth frequently while cleaning.
• Can be used weekly for cleaning. To keep floor clear between cleanings with soap, remove dust and debris using a vacuum or static pad.

Cleaning & Maintenance for Lumiere Collection

Aqua Pure Care

Aqua Pure Care is an environmentally-friendly, water-based product that provides high-performance protection against wear and stains. Coverage: Approximately 525 soft per 1 liter bottle. 

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.

Directions for Use:

• Apply to floor with a clean microfiber pad or cloth. 
• Allow to dry for approximately 1.5 hours.
• Apply one coat of Aqua Pure Care immediately after installation.
• You may reapply when your floors begin to have a dull appearance or show signs of wear, or discoloration (intake of water into the floor) after washing. 

Aqua Pure Soap

Aqua Pure Soap is ideal for routine cleaning of Exquisite Surfaces Lumiere flooring. Aqua Pure Soap both cleans and nourishes your floor’s surface. 

Surface Preparation:

• Vacuum or sweep floor to remove all dust and debris.
• Dilute 100mL of soap per 10L of hot water.

Directions for Use:

• Apply solution with a damp cloth, microfiber mop or sponge mop.
• Wring out mop and/or cloth frequently to avoid excessive moisture on floors.
• Rinse the mop and/or cloth frequently while cleaning.
• Can be used weekly for cleaning. To keep floor clear between cleanings with soap, remove dust and debris using a vacuum or static pad.

General Notes & Recommendations:

• Use the recommended cleaner and refresh the finishing coat as soon as you notice your floors getting a dull appearance or signs of wear.
• Avoid accumulation of dirt, sand and debris.
• Vacuum or sweep your floor at least once a week.
• Place a mat or rug at entry points and in high traffic areas to catch dirt, sand and debris. Do not use mats with rubber or unventilated bottoms.
• Use protective pads for furniture, chairs and heavy items to prevent scratches while moving.
• Place coasters under flower pots, aquariums, etc. to avoid water stains.
• Clean up splashes and spills immediately, as excess water can make the floors swell.
